Melting…

It was too hot to be inside over the weekend, so the bf and I packed up and headed to the lake for 3 days.

We sipped an over-sufficient quantity of  cocktails, took back a lofty amount of sugar, danced like teenagers on the beach, golfed at an amazing course and ate like kings and queens. It’s almost embarrassing how much our relationship resolves around food. Thank god we’re secure with ourselves.

The Sweetest Th’ing'(s)

This long weekend was utter perfection. With nothing too planned on the agenda and hot, summer-like weather I relished in a little C&R (cocktails & relaxation). From being lazy in the a.m. hours,  cottaging in the Muskokas with some great peeps, to celebrating my lovely fathers birthday, I was one happy girl. The best part was the warm air that lasted well into the night. It almost felt like a crime to be inside at all so I spent as much time outside as I could.

 

August long weekend is a sad hint that Miss. Summer is almost done her stay. That being said, I’m taking the next few weekends and doing the sweet things I love with people I adore. I plan on brunching, cocktailing, shopping, dancing, laughing, eating, napping, swimming, cottaging, boating, reading and partying – pretty much the same thing I’ve been doing all summer long, only with lots of love!
